John Chang, FAQI powers and western mopai cult

Introduction
Greetings everyone, today we will focus on examining John Chang, the Western Mopai, and the so-called FAQI superpowers, to critically assess what these abilities are, how they are obtained, and how they actually function.

Before we begin, a few key concepts have to be introduced to those without magic education.

Humans can be divided into 7 bodies or 7 layers of self, ranging from the physical material body that reflects light to the immaterial invisible soul.

Cultivation is a process that develops any of these bodies. Bodybuilders, for example, cultivate the physical body. Many die young, in their 30s-40s, due to intense physical strain and steroid use side effects.

The development of each level and body grants certain abilities and qualities, which can be called siddhis. People usually grade these siddhis by how difficult or how rare they are to obtain. It is part of human psychology to crave what you do not have and to ignore what you already have.

Training the physical body would make it stronger, would make muscles grow, but can everyone lift 200 kg on the bench press? No, it is a long path, and not everyone needs it in life. A proper training program, proper diet, quality coaching, and other means would increase the odds, but it would still be a long journey and might depend on genetics and body weight. With an average body weight of 70 kg, lifting 2.85 times that weight, only 1% of serious lifters achieve that in a decade of training. It would make you stronger than 99.9% and can be classified as a physical siddhi.

Despite all the bullshit spread online, siddhi literally means 'skill'. There is nothing mystical about it. Naturally, it means skill cultivated through training, and most often refers to those developed through spiritual, yogic, magic, and other ancient traditions.
Energy Cocoon

Energy Body responsible for shown siddhis

John Chang, Jiang Feng, and similar Qigong masters have shown a variety of skills.

Body tempering, cutting or breaking solid objects, telekinesis, pyrokinesis, conducting electric current, levitation, and medical treatments.

So, which body do you think you need to train and cultivate in order to have any of these abilities?
Think about it for a moment.
The answer is the ethereal body, or the body of the Swadhistana chakra. All shown abilities relate to this one body. The ethereal body is an electromagnetic field connecting our physical and astral bodies.
Being the second lowest body, it is tied to the material vessel and not to the spirit. It is destroyed upon death.

Another important point to note is that, similar to bodybuilding, the development of the ethereal body has nothing to do with spirituality, magic, or character development. A person could have a powerful Ethereal body and still exhibit negative behaviors, such as being a scammer or a murderer. While some negative reports are circulating about certain masters, I will refrain from sharing unverified information. Only those who have personally interacted with them should bear responsibility for those opinions.
People who revere gurus for their “siddhis” need to recognize that many of these claims are exaggerated and do not necessarily reflect spiritual development. Further, most of these masters die young, casting doubt on the true value of such powers. In general, training the lower energy body is good for health and vitality - yes. But there are diminishing returns with such training: at a certain point, you reach the maximum health benefits, and beyond that, you increase the risk of health complications.

Vitality and health concerns

John Chang died in his 80s, which is not really something you would expect of a god-level body cultivator who could stop a truck, catch a bullet, and easily heal people from incurable diseases. Many people who do not practice anything qigong-related live past 90 and even 100.

Jiang Feng, headmaster of the Gengmenpai school, died in his early 50s. John Chang had apparent brain bleeding, and Jiang Feng had a stroke. Both cases can be linked to problems with energy circulation and the arts they practiced. For example, popular pills in neigong communities include blood thinner - anticoagulant, which can lead to death in case of any bleeding, and also increases the probability of internal bleeding.

There are many more cases of Death related to cultivation practice. In particular, Mopai training is known to cause stagnation and cancer. When you have a bunch of people dying from the same cancer practicing the same method, it is a warning sign.

Setting aside those concerns about health and risks, let us now turn our attention to the abilities themselves.

Superpowers breakdown

Telekinesis - mostly done with static electricity, but could also be done with electric current. Most public demonstrations can be recreated by rubbing your hand on a wool sweater. If you want to become a powerful telekinetic master, think of investing in sweaters.

Body tempering and breaking objects - again, easy to fake, but in an optimal scenario, it works based on the laws of physics. Every object you see or can touch has an electromagnetic field that repels your physical body, which also possesses an electromagnetic field. Influencing that electromagnetic object with another object, you could theoretically affect that repelling force. That is the case of a paper card slicing through a hard object. On the other hand, you could temporarily strengthen the energy field in a specific part of the body, increasing its resistance to external forces. As reported by practitioners who demonstrate this kind of ability, it only lasts a few seconds and requires prior preparation, or “charging up”.

Levitation - ever heard of fancy bed lamps? Magnetic levitation (maglev) is what is used in high-speed trains. It is a popular technology and nothing mystical about it. Generating a similar electric field could lift things off the ground.

Conducting energy to an object causes it to heat up, hence we have a pyrokinesis ability.

Most of these grand abilities can be easily replicated with a few-dollar investment. You do not need to spend $10.000 and travel to another part of the world to visit a secluded GrandMaster and experience “FAQI” ability; you can just buy a $10–20 electric device sold as a massage EMS device. It will provide an unlimited amount of electric current.

Another problem with ethereal body abilities is that none of them have much practical use. Some could argue that FAQI can be used in medical treatments. Indeed, energy emission could be used in treatments. Still, aside from how draining it would be to practice regularly, you would require a proper medical degree to practice any kind of medical or healing work.

False promises of spiritual development

Now, whether those demonstrations are fake or real, it does not really matter; what matters are the things sold along the way. A person demonstrating telekinesis and then promising legitimate spiritual development training is no different from a person showcasing squatting and then saying he will make you the smartest in the world, the president of the world government, and the major stakeholder of a multibillion-dollar corporation all at once. However, for the uneducated crowd, “superpower demonstrations” is a point of attraction and mass interest. They believe those abilities verify a high level of “Teacher” spiritual development, which is obviously false.

Here is a photo of master Zhou, one of the most reputable asian Qigong teachers, who has demonstrated multiple siddhis listed above.

His AP position (spiritual cultivation level) is mid manipura. At this level, you could join the foundation program from S1-Newcomer, but you could not possibly try to practice magic yet.

Here is an example of another popular daoist qigong teacher, this one has been teaching for over 30 years and has not been able to show a single ability.

AP scan shows consciousness and spiritual development at a low level in the manipura position. It is a bit low as a starting point for our foundation program.

| Scans I share publicly are not only done by masters but are also peer-reviewed by other advanced practitioners. And they are 99.9% accurate. |

Abilities have become marketing tools to deceive the audience. Ever since the release of the “Ring of Fire” documentary movie. John Chang has become an internet sensation. People travelled to Indonesia to find him. Every kid wanted to become Goku, to emit fire, and cut down trees with internal energy. At some point, John Chang accepted several Western Students. That is how we got books like Magus of Java and Seeking the Master of Mopai. Both of them were kicked out a few years later. One of those westerners, who also died of cancer, spread a few levels of “secret training” without any permission.

Western Mopai Cult

Western Mopai Cult was born like this: it is a group of mentally disabled individuals who are leeches (parasites) on the body of Mopai school and John Chang himself. They walk around claiming that everything except their method is fake and fraudulent, insisting that only John Chang's WMP method is the true path of cultivation. Why? The problem is that superpowers attract people of low caste, it is playing on such qualities as greed, ego, and lowly, primitive desires. To begin with spiritual development, you would need an AP position based at low anahata. When a person of a lower caste tries genuine spiritual cultivation, he cannot understand it. They neither have the brain capacity nor the sensory organs to perceive the spiritual world. Conversely, Mopai training focused on lower-body development (the ethereal body is connected with swadhistana - 2nd caste level) turned out to be a saving grace, a holy grail.

Fanatical obsession itself is a trait of low to mid-level third-caste development. As a result, you have a maniacal schizophrenic cult built in the name of John Chang, which is led by a few illegitimate low-mid third caste individuals and followed by people of even less development.

Naively, they believe that these methods lead to immortality. WMP practices are not any closer to achieving immortality than doing biceps curls.

Fake Demonstrations by Students

Another thing to add is that, with Jim, various online level 2B exams, and various public FAQI demonstrations done by NeigongExile, none of it is real. They can only be done with a teacher's help, after the teacher opens channels and pumps energy, and in the teacher's presence. None of these people can replicate or demonstrate anything on their own. Why they believe they have any real abilities is mind-boggling.

Obsession with FAQI as “real” energy demonstration goes hand in hand. One thing you need to develop when you just start practicing is sensitivity to energy. And that includes subtle energies; you start from weak electromagnetic currents. Eventually, you would be able to sense subtle energy bodies above the ethereal and astral. Some people are more sensitive to energy, some less, but it develops with genuine practice, and the sensitivity develops from less subtle to more subtle energies.

Anybody could sense electric qi emission. It literally causes physical pain and muscle contraction. Sensing electric current does not require any training or development. In this case, you could think that FAQi is helpful in proving the existence of energy to the most die-hard non-believers. Still, the caveat is that even if you prove it to them, they are 100s of lives too early to enter spiritual cultivation. In a legitimate setting, body or energy cultivation is a preparation and support for spiritual development, not a replacement for it.

The world has a natural separation between magic, esoteric cultivation circles, and mundane circles. The soul has to mature to a certain point before moving onto this path, a process that unfolds through multiple reincarnations. It has to be a calling from within, not a public advertisement of Goku's superpowers that attracts the lowest of the low or rubs the monkeys' egos.

Dragging unprepared people into real self-development work is a recipe for disaster.

Clear path into spiritual growth

There is one legitimate way to observe someone's level of development. It is called the third eye and is developed in magic schools like ours and others. With the third eye open, you will not only see the regular physical reality - 3D, but the ethereal and astral world on top of it, which matches 4D and 7D. This would show a person's energy bodies and energy cultivation, identify Assemblage Point (AP) position that constitutes the overall spiritual development level, and allow scanning of the mind, mental bodies, and chakras.

When you develop an astral body, you stop being a slave to physical reality and become free from the material prison. Able to travel the vast astral world and above, meet entities at a level far above any existing master in the physical realm.

Now, if you want to become immortal, you just need to reach the base AP position of the Ajna chakra. Death is a system mechanism and a process that kills (liberates) living beings. No living being can truly avoid death. But as you surpass mundane existence and grow yourself beyond a single lifetime, it will not be a problem. By generating a persistent self, you will be able to reliably restore your cultivation and continue your path in the next incarnation.

I am often asked to measure someone’s level of development and cultivation. In the magic order, we use this internally at regular intervals, usually every 6 months, to evaluate progress. I stopped doing that for public teachers and well-known Gurus. Because the claims people make and the reality almost never align. You can have a 30-year teaching actively Daoist neigong master without basic energy circulation open, a meditation 6th Janna teacher having internal dialogue and no mental body development, you can have a Buddhist lama (monk) who is a sexual predator, and so on.

I think students should open their third eye and explore the truth for themselves. Reality can be dark. It is much more productive to focus on your own cultivation in a legitimate system, rather than spend life chasing illusions. Do not make yourself an idol of any sort.
