The ancients developed a social division system based on these different classes called varnas, or the caste system. Each group had its primary function and role in society.
Ancient society divided itself into 4 core groups, namely:
Brahmans were spiritual teachers and priests who taught and practiced the Vedas (system of ancient knowledge), performed rituals and rites, advised rulers, and preserved spiritual traditions.
Kshatriyas were warriors, administrators, rulers, law and order maintainers, tax collectors, government officials, protectors from enemies, and developers of martial arts practitioners.
Vaishyas were traders, merchants, and farmers, engaged in agriculture, trade, the circulation of value, and the financial support of society.
Shudras were manual laborers, service workers, and craftsmen.
Symbolically, it also represents our human body, adhering to ancient knowledge and the principle of what is above and what is below.
Workers would be the limbs and muscles that do the work. Traders would be the blood, digestive, and circulatory systems, delivering nutrients across the body. Warriors are the immune system, command center, and nervous system that push to action. Priests are the brain cells of the body, decision making center.
Everything has to work together; if one part is corrupted or dysfunctional, the whole organism will suffer. If positions in society are displaced, the function becomes suboptimal. Warriors will not do a good job in the Priest role, nor will Traders or Workers do a good job in a Warrior position.
Interestingly, if you read through historical and scientific views of evolution, you find it was a similar process. First working tools - muladhara; then trade - svadhistana; then government - manipura.
The division proposed by the ancients was grounded in reality and insights into human nature and the process of human evolution. People still find their place in life based on internal structures and past life baggage. Past life experiences shape the talents and inclinations you are born with in your current incarnation. Most people build long-term relationships within one caste or at a similar level, and souls attracted during the procreation process are usually at a level similar to that of their parents. If both parents are third caste with AP base at Manipura chakra, having a child born with AP at Muladhara is nearly impossible. This may also explain higher fertility among low-caste individuals: they have energy concentrated in the low chakras, and it is easier to attract a low-level soul than a rare ancient soul at anahata and above.
Every new soul begins its journey from a blank slate, with no experience. Once you start your path, you begin to accumulate personal history and build your unique identity.
Everything starts with the first varna and worker position, which focuses on the physical body.
Upon gaining the experiences and qualities required to fill the level of the first chakra - muladhara, the base AP position advances to the next chakra, presenting new opportunities for learning and realization.
The person would naturally transition to the second caste, with their values and perception acquiring a transformation.
This evolutionary path unfolds across multiple reincarnations throughout human history. As things stand now, countless souls have experienced reincarnation, accumulating life experience on Earth. This explains why people with AP at svadhisthana (2nd caste) or manipura (3rd caste) are so widespread. However, if you try to find a person with AP anahata, or the 4th caste, you will experience difficulties.
Why is that?
Imagine a school: you go there, learn different things in each class, and once you complete your lessons, you are moved on to the next one. The problem is that people are born without understanding what they have to do in life. The system's rebirth mechanism puts you in a condition where you can gain the next quality you need. Natural development through the course of reincarnation is not that fast. It is possible to keep going to school for many years without completing any lessons, and just keep repeating the same class over and over again.
Understanding the System and its motives, the necessary qualities for each level, purpose in life, and the evolution pathways are only possible at a relatively high level of cultivation above anahata, which is inaccessible to the vast majority.
The first three chakras are aligned with the body, and the upper three chakras are aligned with the mind. Anahata, located between, is the first level of Magic and marks its beginning.
It is a transition from the mundane to the spiritual.
It is only after passing this level that you can properly interact with spiritual energies and realities, let alone teach them to somebody else.
Society has everything needed to work from the 1st to the end of the 3rd caste naturally. But after entering the 4th caste, it is no longer possible to progress the same way, and the experience you can gain in the physical realm becomes limited.
That is where magic schools, teachers, and ancient traditions come into view.
At the Anahata level, the mind and consciousness expand beyond the usual three dimensions into the 4th Dimension and open to spiritual perception, leading to ESP abilities.
Everyone at this level has some ESP skill. It is normal. Just as it is normal to taste food or touch objects, for the 4th caste, it is normal to sense things.
I have met people who claim to be at a high level of development, enlightened, or immortal, but do not have ESP abilities. In cultivation and life, you first learn to crawl, then walk, then run.
Anahata is the base level, not a high level, and everyone here has ESP abilities. It can vary in skill and potency, but cannot be avoided.
In magic tradition, AP Anahata is the first level. Why do most magic teachings not work?
If someone from the Third Caste without foundation training jumps into magic, they are almost guaranteed to develop problems. The foundation program we established serves as a bridge into magic, focusing on developing the qualities and skills needed. The first important step is to finish your warrior lessons before moving to the next stage.
Usually, when people develop an interest in magic and spirituality, they are already at the manipura level, at the lowest level, or between manipura and anahata. People below the manipura do not have enough willpower, discipline, and motivation to persevere through the training process. To begin with, they lack internal values that would drive them toward a long-term self-development goal. They will leave for something easier and more pleasant than training. This is a natural selection process.
In Magic, cultivation levels are based on the AP base position. This can be measured and objectively scanned by a photo.
Magic identifies the 4th Caste as only the beginning of the path, and further breaks it down into major and small realms.
There are three major realms in Magic tradition. Anahata, Vishudha, and Ajna. You could divide each of these levels into 9 small realms, but that causes unnecessary confusion and complexity. For simplicity, we use low, mid, and upper as three distinct levels on each chakra.
As you can see from the outlined evolution path, a human becomes less of a monkey (animal) body and more of a mind, consciousness, and spiritual entity. The new soul, born into the physical, material plane, gradually and step by step climbs back to spiritual reality.
It may sound simple, but the path itself is not linear; with each step, the difficulty, complexity, and quantity of work required to pass increase. If you could pass 1 > 2 in a single lifetime, going from 2 to 3 can take a dozen incarnations, and from 3 to 4, hundreds of incarnations.
Imagine a reverse pyramid. It takes a lot of information, knowledge, experience, and skills to fill each level, with requirements increasing progressively.
For example, to fill the gap from low anahata to mid anahata level requires more information, energy, and qualities than were used to fill all three chakras/levels before that. However, if we know the lessons required and have the tools to gain the necessary experience, we can achieve it much faster, which is called a vertical evolution pathway.
Horizontal evolution is more about training a particular body to a high level, to gain a certain power or skill.
Spiritual growth takes time; you are not always lucky to find a legitimate teaching and methods. That is why one of the key priorities in the 4th caste is the development of a persistent self, also called complete personality or assembled personality. If you do not develop it, when you die, you will lose your path in the next life and take an unknown amount of time to return to the tradition and resume cultivation.
If you develop it, it makes you immortal, as you continue your path in the next life as the very same being you were in the previous life.
Magi have a much higher level of development than is possible to obtain in human society. They organize into closed groups and seclusive organizations. Our Magus Order of the Cosmic Storms is an example of such a group.
Magi follow a strict hierarchy system that enables progress and allows the exchange of knowledge and values across different levels.
It is an organization built on evolution, development, research, and cultivation as its core values.
The Magus Order like ours does not accept people with AP manipura at all.
You cannot buy a membership here.
At the base level to join the Order: completion of the foundation program, AP Base low anahata, good conduct, satisfactory Exam results.
Then the cultivation ranks are based on AP progression :
The goal of cultivation is to increase your Base AP by filling previous levels. This process takes a long time.
Base AP is like a floater in water; it is supported by overall experience and qualities built on each level.
Working AP forms as you practice to build up the level ahead, usually 1-2 steps above the current one.
You can jump slightly above yourself, practice at a higher level, gain experience, and over time, your AP base will rise.
So if your base position is anahata, you could jump to mid anahata and upper anahata to practice there.
Holding AP above its base position is a draining activity that consumes energy.
If you practice regularly, your working AP position will also solidify and be visible. In this case, we would determine both the base AP and working AP position where you could practice.
Mediumism is a condition in which the AP position is loose and out of control. Mediumism can be an inborn condition, or it can develop as a result of trauma, harmful substances, bad practices, and prolonged stress. A near-death experience that signifies damage to the silver thread causes Mediumism. Sexual energy imbalance where a person has neither Yin nor Yang polarity dominant, can also contribute to loose AP.
The assemblage point in mediums clings to external energies and objects. Because AP is loose, it can easily move under any influence, and as a result, a person can easily enter a trance or an altered state of mind.
Think of a personality like a mass. A massive personality will hardly move under influence. Medium is like a feather; he will flow with any light wind. It is the opposite of a Magus. Mediums can experience intense sensations, but that does not mean the practices they do are intense.
Practice power / Mass of Personality = sensations
A feather would be strongly dragged around by a light wind, but a mountain will not feel much during a tornado.
Medium is usually a person of a low caste, floating into the fantasy realm and delusion. These make them victims on spiritual planes. They are easily manipulated and deceived. Mediums cannot hold a stable AP position and thus cannot practice magic or gain experience. People with this condition have a high risk of developing a serious mental disorder and deviations.
Many schools are aware of AP, as the Magic paradigm has gained traction in esoteric circles. As AP has become a key measure of progress between cultivators, methods to improve perceived AP position have become popular.
Instead of proper cultivation, thousands of methods have been developed to increase or lock the AP position; most of which usually create a fake astral structure in the upper chakras, which can be scanned and perceived by others but does not constitute genuine experience at that level.
A similar concept applies to leaders of Egregores or public figures revered by many followers. Public faith could create a fake astral image overlapping with reality. People at the manipura level could pick up those astral signals and falsely confirm a person as a supernatural being.
People who are not skilled with the third eye can also pick up those signals and falsely identify AP.
When scanning body cultivators, you have to filter out physical energies for bodybuilders and ethereal energies for qigong practitioners.
Some are focusing on building a fake AP position. Instead of genuine learning and making step-by-step progression to anahata, they skip it all to focus on developing their AP on vishudha. This is done with the help of the egregore, rituals, and various magic artefacts. Fake fixation requires constant energy to be maintained. As a result of such dishonesty, all these magi at a “high level” are stuck in an impassable bottleneck for 30+ years of practice. They keep trying practices head above their real level of development. Well deserved.
Knowing a position of AP, you will know a general level of spiritual cultivation that allows you to identify what exactly you need to work with and where to pay attention to make further progress.
Key takeaway: Cultivation allows no rush, but neither is there time to waste; everyone gradually works to address the most pressing flaws and develop the necessary skills and qualities to move forward. Take your time and enjoy the process of evolution and your character growth.
You cannot avoid life lessons; you can only postpone them to the future self (next life).
P.s. I would also add that everyone has an AP, and everyone’s AP can be identified, which removes much of the delusion in multiple systems and cultivation traditions. If your tradition does not increase AP, it does not belong to the vertical evolution pathway and will never lead to any kind of immortality.
Many naive individuals make bold claims online about immortality and spiritual development. It is all connected to following some unhealthy low-manipura teacher, stretching your physical body, sitting down and doing nothing for XXX hours, and ingesting deadly poison.
Taking unqualified guidance on the path you sign up for this kind of experience.
